Output Influenced from Inhibitory-inputs (OII) - This is a
neuron level value that reflects the amount of influence the output of
this neuron has had over the
output levels of other neurons with which it connects. It is the III for the neuron, further gated by the
axon level (
AL) at the output at each of the influenced (post-synaptic) neurons. Expressed in floating point representation, it is the sum of the result of multiplying the III * the
AL of each post-synaptic neuron that
this neuron contacts.
OI_I is a Netlab term with no direct analog in the study of biological neural networks. It is based on a new learning method, which is referred to in Netlab as
Influence Learning.
