Self-Organized Criticality

The science and study of Critical Phenomena. That is, those that occur during critical states of matter or systems. In matter, for example, when a substance transitions from one state to another, such as when water changes from a liquid to a gas, or solid. It is also present in systems, such as markets, and societies.
