Neural Network

 
Most generally: A network of interconnected neurons.

An Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is an interconnected network of artificial neurons that make up a network. That is, the neural network is made up of some number of interconnected artificial neurons, which are connected together in some configuration.

In biological brains this is a set of interconnected biological neurons that make up the brain, brain area, or other areas of an organism's nervous system.
