Fischer, Edmond H.

 
Dr. Edmond H. Fischer is the American chemist who, in collaboration with Edwin Krebs discovered and documented the processes whereby protein (glycogen phosphorylase) undergoes reversible phosphoralation, mediated by ATP.

Both Dr. Fischer and Dr. Krebs won the 1992 Nobel Prize for physiology or medicine for their work together.
