Reactive Feedback

Feedback of signals that will cause immediate changes in responses on the output of a neuron without having a direct effect on the values of connection weights. Contrast this with Adaptive Feedback, which is signal feedback that causes a change in the values of connection weights. A given axon level signal on the output of a neuron can serve as both reactive feedback, and reinforcement feedback within a neural network.
