Augustus DeMorgan - (also De Morgan) Was a mathematician and student of logic who was instrumental, along with
George Boole and
William Jevons, in the advancement of logic, and in moving logic to a more mathematically based representation.
Most known amongst programmers for his theorems and laws relating to Boolean algebra's operators.
